Marya D’Alessio, MA - Osteologist - Archaeologist
Marya D’Alessio received her Master’s degree in Public Issues Anthropology from the University of Waterloo on the topic of Bronze Age Greek burials. During her time at Waterloo, Marya ran the human osteology labs for undergraduates, instructing them in bone identification and analysis. Her lab experience extends to her Bachelor’s at Western University where she served as an assistant in the Zooarchaeology Lab.
Marya has worked in various CRM capacities since 2012. As a licensed field director and with extensive osteological experience (both human and faunal), Marya provides direction on TMHC projects that involve the excavation and analyses of human and faunal remains and burials in Ontario.
